Wrist arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed to view, diagnose and treat problems in your wrist joint. An arthroscope and special surgical instruments are inserted into your wrist through small incisions or portals. The arthroscope is a thin tube with a camera, lens, and light source.
Athletes are susceptible to a variety of upper extremity injuries that can make regular tasks challenging on and off the field. Injuries can occur to the ligaments, tendons, bones, and joints that are instrumental in movement and stability.
